Vitruvian pendant, silver
The Vitruvian pendant consists of a circle, a square and a rectangular part. This feature makes them stick together by means of a thread, making it possible for them to move individually. The free movement makes The Vitruvian pendant flexible and interesting.
Express creativity and inspire yourself and others to put more focus on creativity in all possible ways. Creativity is not just a painting or a design of a thing. It can be the family dinner, a treasure hunt at your children’s birthday. Or it can be the way you combine your clothes or your interior design. Remind yourself to let the creativity go crazy and to let the ideas run free.
The Vitruvian pendant is inspired by da Vinci
Leonardo Da Vinci drew the Vitruvian man for the architect Vitruvius around 1490. Ever since many interpretations have been made of the man in a square or in a circle. For instance in The Simpsons and Darth Vader or in the shape of the Pope, presidents or various artists.
In line with our philosophy – less is more – we have chosen to simplify it. Our version consists of the square and the circle in all its wonderful simplicity.
As an advantage, the Vitruvian pendant can be used with a 60 cm chain. This is because it is heavy enough to hang in a beautiful and natural way at the torso.
It goes without saying that the Vitruvian Pendant is made in sterling silver by competent jewellers in Germany.
Rinse in lukewarm water and soap and polish with our polishing cloth (enclosed). We do not recommend silver dip or the like, as such chemicals tend to ruin the surface.
