Wood tie clip, silver – 40mm
A tie clip in sterling silver with an inlay in African black wood. It is a stylish and classy statement. It expresses quality and love for natural materials. The wood, also called Mpingo in Swahili, has been bought at trusted suppliers having an FSC certificate ensuring that the tree has been cut down in a sustainable manner with respect for nature and the local population.
A tie clip is an accessory which still has a practical function that has not been replaced by anything. In its simplicity, it is just a question about maintaining the tie in its position in order to avoid that the tie will flutter or end up in the soup during dinner. No ties exist that just stay where they are supposed to and for practical reasons alone it’s logical to use a tie clip.
But once the tie clip is there, it is an advantage to make it in a great design, in good quality and make it express your good taste. Often the small details are more visible than the big lines and a tie clip from Men Up North will express self-assurance and a sense for detail.
All tie clips from Men Up North have been designed so that the design, in an organic way, flows together with the backside and the arm which holds the crocodile clip. This way of designing our tie clips will give you a truly special experience when wearing them.
Rinse in lukewarm water and soap and polish with our polishing cloth (enclosed). We do not recommend silver dip or the like, as such chemicals tend to ruin the surface.
